Where To Go, Places to See in Las Pinas

We’re always trying to make the most of our homeschooling and going to interesting places and doing activities around the area is always stimulating and fun. So, what I did was, I researched places of interest in the nearby cities/municipalities and came up with a things to see or do list.

Here’s the list for Las Pinas City:

1. Las Pinas Bamboo Organ/ St. Joseph Church

Here’s their website: http://bambooorgan.org/. We haven’t been here yet but it’s surely in our bucket list!

2. Sarao Jeepney Factory, Sarao Motors Inc., 249 Pulang Lupa, Zapote, Las Pinas

Haven’t been here too, but you can read more about it here http://laspinascity.gov.ph/home/article?cat=ls&sub=Sarao+Jeepney.

3. Nature’s Church or Mary Immaculate Parish

This place is beautiful and I look forward to visiting it during Bisita Iglesia this coming Holy Week. Here’s their website: http://mipnatureschurch.com/

4. Salt Beds

To learn more about it, read here and here. Not sure if they welcome visitors but I would surely want a quick look at how the salt forms. 🙂

5. Yexel’s Toy Museum; 52 Sampaguita Road, Pilar Village, Las Pinas. Cellphone number: 0915-7714777

We got to see the toy collection when it was on display at SM Southmall. Haven’t been to Pilar Village but when we run out of places to go, we will surely check it out just to see what other toys/figures were added to the collection. Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/yexelstoymuseum

6. Go bowling or ice skating at SM Southmall

7. Watch movies (SM Southmall)

8. Las Piñas-Parañaque Critical Habitat and Eco-tourism area
You can go bird-watching in this area or just enjoy the serenity of the place. Here’s more info about it: http://www.smartparenting.com.ph/home-living/travel-trips-activities/around-town-the-las-pinas-paranaque-critical-habitat-and-ecotourism-area.

Well, that’s it for now. Will add as I find more interesting places to go and see in the area. Enjoy and have fun! 🙂
