Bob the Builder Software

Today Nikki tried out a new software for his lessons.  It’s Bob the Builder Can Do Zoo.  It’s actually a lot of fun.  Since the difficulty level could be adjusted, Ethan could also try it out.  Here’s what it’s all about:

Bob the Builder™: Can-Do Zoo is a mix of education and fun that allows kids to be creative and get more familiar with the computer.   With a focus on critical thinking and problem solving, kids can complete fun and educational activities to build the animal habitats for the new Bobland Bay Zoo – with the help of Bob and the Can-Do Crew, of course.  They’ll earn stickers for building achievements and use them to create their own scenes in the bonus sticker book mode, which we added to encourage kids to play again and again.

Skills Taught:

  • Problem Solving
  • Pattern Recognition
  • Object Classification
  • Fine Motor Skills
  • Spatial Recognition
  • Shape and Color Identification
  • Planning and Time Sequencing
  • Problem Solving
  • Object Classification

Nikki had loads of fun playing it today, he said he’s going to continue playing tomorrow.  I certainly don’t mind as long as he has fun learning. 🙂
